Following this success, Sharp founded the NATAL PERCUSSION COMPANY in 1965, which rapidly achieved worldwide fame and their flagship fiberglass congas were used by artists such as Santana, T. Rex, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Deep Purple and The Rolling Stones.
