This snare drum has a very large spring bed, plus very large reinforcing rings serving as a focus ring. What does this give? The snare drum has virtually no unnecessary overtones. No need to dampen it, place a gel or wallet that someone will steal at a concert 😄. At the same time it's very responsive. Sound-wise, a total firecracker. The strainer is a true armored monster, runs smoothly.
