We transfer it into CAD, fine-tune it and send it back for your approval, then we paint it. The horizontal stripes are laid down on a stripe machine, which puts down a thicker or thinner line depending on the setting. This lets the whole drum resonate across its full range of tones. To minimise the risk of the drums going out of tune, each lug takes a long tension rod that seats deep inside it.
