The unique \u003cstrong\u003eTube Lug\u003c\/strong\u003e design looks like traditional hardware, but the body of the lug \"floats\" above the shell to \u003cstrong\u003eminimise contact with the drum\u003c\/strong\u003e. This lets the whole instrument resonate across its full tonal range. To minimise the risk of the drums going out of tune, each lug uses a long tension rod that seats deep inside it.
