POLMUZ Model 1 MAPLE is produced with the highest care in our workshop in Gdynia.

Every Polmuz shell, after successfully passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

Features

100% maple shells

The Maple series shells were made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility in many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected layers of maple, as well as focusing on shell forming and edge shape.

Edges

Beveling edges at 45° angle causes them to contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been polished and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head contact with the shell. The consequence of such a solution is a clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing at the contact point in toms provides a quick attack and short decay, while rounded edges in snares generate unique and warm vintage sound.

Finish

The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and extraordinary sound. The lacquer used to finish Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.

Tube Lug

Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique design of Tube Lug makes them look like traditional mounting hardware, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum, so to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each one has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each one has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality of materials used and breaks with the infamous reputation of the brand from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz lettering is a guarantee and a hallmark of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.

Mounting system

A non-intrusive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easier to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum provide reduced weight.

Snare butt straps

The straps on Polmuz snare drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, straps and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or click, even with loose tuning.

Heads

Transparent, 1-ply struck heads of high quality are used in the drums.

The snare heads additionally have a wide muffling collar. The resonant heads feature a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinct Polmuz logo.

Qualità e professionalità

Polmuz, così come le più alte serie dei principali produttori, è trattato individualmente, il che significa che non è possibile alcun difetto o irregolarità del set. Ogni elemento della batteria viene sottoposto a ispezioni meticolose dopo lo scballaggio e controllato con un occhio attento dal lutaio. Cerchiamo che Polmuz sia ricordato come prodotto premium, tutti i bordi dei fusti devono essere perfettamente dritti e lisci e inoltre sono cerati per ottenere una sensazione ancora più ricca di professionalità e comfort. Come sappiamo bene, un bordo perfettamente liscio evoca gioia e felicità durante il tradizionale rituale di far scorrere la mano lungo il bordo prima di applicare una nuova pelle, senza parlare della facilità di accordatura del tamburo e del suono perfetto del fusto. Inoltre, tutto l'hardware dei tamburi viene controllato perché non c'è nulla di più piacevole di viti che si avvitano dolcemente in lugs perfettamente adattati. Dopo un controllo di qualità così solido, i singoli elementi del set ricevono un adesivo individuale con numero di serie, data e firma autografa che attesta l'alta qualità del tamburo. In caso di difetto o irregolarità, il fusto viene rifatto.

Sul marchio Polmuz

Polmuz - leggendario marchio che produce i primi tamburi polacchi, conosciuto da tutti i batteristi. L'azienda è stata fondata negli anni '60 e i suoi stabilimenti si trovavano in via Grochowska 75/77 a Varsavia. Oltre ai tamburi Polmuz produceva anche strumenti a percussione e fiati. Gli ultimi tamburi sono stati realizzati alla fine degli anni '90 e successivamente hanno completamente scomparso dal mercato. Nel 2018, il team dello specializzato negozio di batteria DrumStore da Danzica ha deciso di riattivare il marchio Polmuz acquistando i diritti completi al suo nome.

Attualmente Polmuz è una linea di set di batteria di alta qualità e strumenti etnici, in nulla inferiori ai migliori prodotti della concorrenza. Il design audace combinato con soluzioni collaudate ha fatto sì che Polmuz conquisti non solo il mercato batteria polacco, ma anche i cuori di coloro che hanno nei loro ricordi i loro primi tamburi Polmuz.
