A bit of history

NATAL is a British company with a long-standing tradition. Natal's origins date back to 1958 when renowned British drummer Alan Sharp couldn't find his desired sound and decided to build a kit himself—these were fiberglass bongos. Alan's instrument proved to be of such high quality that it quickly gained recognition among musicians. Continuing on this path, Sharp founded the NATAL PERCUSSION COMPANY in 1965, which rapidly achieved worldwide fame. Their flagship fiberglass instruments were used by artists such as Santana, T. Rex, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Deep Purple, and The Rolling Stones.
