Example repairs

  • correcting and re-cutting the bearing edges of drums and the snare bed

  • replacing rusty / faulty drum hardware: screws, lugs, tension rod inserts, snare strainer, hoops

  • repairing a neglected drum interior, sanding, spray painting

  • removing old wrap/lacquer and applying new wrap to drums

  • applying a new drum finish / new color - using oil / wax / lacquer methods

Example prices

  • correcting and re-cutting the bearing edges of drums and the snare bed, including edge polishing and waxing for better tuning - 250 PLN per drum, 350 PLN for a snare

  • re-cutting a drum shell with a warped edge, not perpendicular to the shell's cylindrical surface, or an unevenly cut edge - 350 PLN

  • leveling a slightly warped edge by sanding on a flat table - 250 PLN

  • Shortening a drum shell and re-drilling new holes for the lugs - 450 PLN

  • Drum SPA: replacing screws with stainless steel ones, cleaning and waxing the inside of the shell, waxing and polishing the edges, cleaning the drum on the outside, re-threading the lugs - 500 PLN

  • sanding the interior and spray painting the inside of the shell matte black or another available color - 700 PLN

  • other requested work, hourly rate - 250 PLN/h
