DrumStore is a family business, and our foundation is people - a great, well-coordinated team. Everyone here has their own specialty and place.

A few words about DrumStore's business

The store's history

Before DrumStore developed into what it is today, it had to go through a not-so-easy path, but let's start from the beginning. It all started with selling individual Istanbul cymbals and drums, eventually growing into an official store distributing Turkish cymbals and Czech Balbex drumsticks.

The business began on 09.01.2006. At the very start, DrumStore's headquarters were located... in a basement. The store was founded by Tomasz Stukan, and initially he was DrumStore's only employee. Working solo wasn't easy - a small but constantly growing range of products, the first customers, and uncertainty about the future significantly affected motivation to work. Fortunately, determination and the drive to improve the business meant the store kept growing.

Currently, four more people work at DrumStore, with each employee handling a specific department and constantly expanding their knowledge in given areas, so they can offer professional advice not only on drum instruments, but also guitars and keyboard instruments. Thanks to regular team meetings, we share insights about orders, marketing and specific products, and we're always working to improve the quality of our service.

As a result of these efforts, DrumStore's customer base keeps growing, and among them you'll find well-known names such as Tomasz Łosowski, Maciej "Ślimak" Starosta (Acid Drinkers, Arka Noego), Michał Łysejko (Decapitated), Paweł Herbasch (Illusion), Łukasz "Luk" Jeleniewski (Lipali), Tomasz Goehs (Kult).

Happy customers are a huge motivation for us to keep working on DrumStore's development, which is now not just a drum showroom, but also a meeting place, a spot for workshops, and even intimate concerts. As enthusiasts, we're dedicated to promoting such a fascinating activity as playing drums, and through the courses we offer (including our free mailing list and the DrumStore blog) we want to spread the passion for drums to an ever wider circle of interesting people.
