A Piece of History

NATAL is a British company with a long-standing tradition. NATAL's origins date back to 1958 when renowned British drummer Alan Sharp couldn't find his sound and decided to build a kit himself - these were fiberglass bongos. Alan's instruments proved to be of such high quality that they quickly gained recognition among musicians. Following this success, Sharp founded the NATAL PERCUSSION COMPANY in 1965, which rapidly achieved worldwide fame. Their flagship fiberglass instruments were used by artists such as Santana, T. Rex, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Deep Purple, and The Rolling Stones. NATAL certainly didn't stop at congas but quickly expanded into general percussion instruments. Their acoustic kits, snares, and hardware continue to be widely respected and highly regarded for their quality.
