FEATURES

100% birch shells

The Birch series shells are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and treble tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. Full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells are achieved through carefully selected birch layers, as well as attention to shell shaping and bearing edge design.

Bearing Edges

The 45° bearing edge ensures optimal contact with the drumhead. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums is precisely sanded and hand-waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is pure tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edges on tom drums deliver a quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded edge on bass drums generates unique warm vintage tone.

Hardware

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced Poland's first drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its factories located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they disappeared from the market completely. In 2018, the team from the specialist drum shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring all rights to its name.

Today Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions have enabled Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish drum market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
