QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Every element of the drum kit is subjected to careful inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive to establish Polmuz in consciousness as a premium product, all drum shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect tone of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.

Features

Tube Lug

The Tube Lug is characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "rises" above the shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire assembly to resonate throughout the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums losing their tuning, each one features a long screw that is seated deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and indeed the hallmark of the highest level of craftsmanship of every drum.

Construction

The 6 mm thick shell ensures a clear attack and stunning appearance, making the Polmuz Acrylic drums ideal for live performances. The seamless shell construction guarantees excellent resonance while maintaining very high durability. 2 mm thick hoops are an excellent combination of tuning stability and tone that surprises with its openness.

About the brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum store DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.

Today Polmuz is a high quality drum sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
