QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the kit. Each drum element is subjected to meticulous inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product – all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual kit elements receive an individual label with a serial number, date and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is discovered, the shell is made anew.

Features

Tube Lug

Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "lifts" above the drum shell so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole kit to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass, the chrome-plated Polmuz lettering is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship of each drum.

Construction

The 6 mm thick shell ensures a clear attack and amazing appearance, making Polmuz Acrylic drums ideal for live performances. Seamless shell construction guarantees excellent resonance while maintaining very high durability. 2 mm thick hoops are an excellent combination of tuning stability and sound that surprises with its openness.

About the Brand

Polmuz - legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.

Today Polmuz offers high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are no different from the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have caused Polmuz to storm not only the Polish drum market but also capture the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
