Drum kits from the reactivated Polmuz brand bear no resemblance to their originals from the last century. Today, Polmuz stands above all for bold design combined with proven, solid technologies known from the best brands' products.
This piece features a fairly unique design: transparent acrylic shells paired with gold hardware, lugs arranged in a cross pattern (cross lugs), and a red, glitter hoop on the bass drum. A combination you won't find in any mass-market brand's catalog.

Features
Tube Lug
Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. Their unique construction makes them look like traditional lugs, but the lug body "floats" above the shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole drum to resonate across its full range of sound. Each drum has a long screw that seats deep into the lug, plus double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - guaranteeing tuning stability.
Gold hardware and lugs in an offset pattern
In this set, all hardware is finished with a gold coating, and the lugs are arranged alternately (cross lugs) - a solution known from expensive custom series, which looks exceptionally striking on transparent acrylic. The cast logo on the Polmuz shell is a genuine statement of quality and style.
Red glitter hoop
The front of the bass drum is finished with a red glitter hoop, which gives an unmatched effect under stage lights. It is on this very part that there is a small lacquer chip, which is the reason for the price reduction.
Construction
The 6 mm thick shell delivers a clear attack and a stunning look, making Polmuz Acrylic drums ideal for live performances. The seamless shell construction guarantees great resonance while retaining very high durability. The 2 mm thick hoops are a perfect combination of tuning stability and a sound that surprises with its openness.
Quality and Professionalism
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
About the Polmuz Brand
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
