Hey, this is Tomek. This Friday I made the best snare drum yet 🥁 of course every next one is the best but this one is exceptional. I developed a special drilling method with 0.5mm precision, which made precise hole drilling a relaxing activity instead of a stressful one 😅 With great excitement I was installing lugs and the hardware, waiting for the sound result. This snare has a very large spring bed, plus very large flanges acting as a focus ring. What does this give you? The snare has virtually no unnecessary side sounds. No need to dampen it, put tape or a wallet that someone might steal at a gig 😂. At the same time it's very responsive. Sonically a total firecracker. The throw-off is a true armored beast, it operates smoothly. Springs don't bounce back on the bongo.

Every percussion element is subjected to careful inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, craftsman's eye. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect shell tone. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitting lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.

Heads and Springs

The drums are equipped with coated, 1-ply strike heads of high quality. The springs used in Polmuz snare drums are proven components with 30 coils, which work perfectly with virtually any resonant head. Thanks to them, the snare drum generates a characteristic sound, free of unnecessary overtones.
