QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Like the highest-end series from leading manufacturers, Polmuz is treated individually, which means there can be no defects or irregularities in the set. Every percussion element undergoes meticulous inspection after unpacking and is checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product. All shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head - not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive a sticker with a serial number, date and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is found, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midrange and high frequencies ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected maple layers and focus on shell forming and edge shaping.
Edges
The 45° edge cut ensures optimal contact with the head on a flat surface, making tuning incredibly easy
Many modern companies cut the edge so it contacts the head on the curved part of the bearing edge. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on what's known as a "rag" head
Each edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between head and shell. This results in clean sound across the entire frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finish provides quick attack, selective and expressive sustain.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and unconventional sound. The lacquer used on Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of tuning instability, each uses a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection with washers - metal and nylon - guaranteeing tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
All hardware on Polmuz drums features a chrome finish. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in every drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms close together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, aluminum components keep weight down.
Centerlock hooks
The hooks in Polmuz set centerlock systems are equipped with rubber washers that help protect wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans heads are used on the drums. G2 clear on toms and floors, and EMAD on BD. You can order any Evans head for the set.
Resonant TT and FT heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The centerlock resonant head is an excellent-sounding Polmuz fiberskin.
Centerlock heads additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its workshops were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced noise makers and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion store DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz represents high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best competition products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have allowed Polmuz to storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
