QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the top series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each element of the drum kit is carefully inspected after unpacking and checked with a keen, soldering eye. We strive to make Polmuz known as a premium product, all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ceremony of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defects or irregularities are found, the shell is manufactured anew.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% Maple Shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midrange and treble tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells is achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers and focusing on shell formation and edge shape.
Edges
The 45° bearing edge ensures optimal contact with the head on a flat surface, making tuning effortlessly simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so that contact with the head occurs on the rounded bearing. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on what's called "rags"
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect contact between the head and the shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finish provides fast attack, selective and expressive sound.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and unconventional sound. The lacquer used for finishing Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the shell. This allows everything to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each one features a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome Hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials and breaks with the brand's disreputable reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and also a business card of the highest level of craftsmanship of each drum.
Mounting System
A mounting system that doesn't interfere with the shells ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to set toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Center Hooks
The hooks in Polmuz set stands are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the hooks and hoops form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Evans drumheads are used in the drums. G2 Clear on toms and floor tom, and Emad on bass drum. Any Evans heads can be ordered for the set.
TT and FT resonant heads are thin Polmuz Clear. The bass drum reso is an excellent sounding Polmuz fiberskin head.
Bass drum heads additionally feature a wide muffling collar. Meanwhile, resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced harmonicas and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing the complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality drum set and ethnic instruments line that is in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also win the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
