FEATURES
100% birch shells
The Birch series shells are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shape.

Bearing Edges
The 45° edge cut ensures they contact the head at the optimal point. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing on tom bearing edges creates quick attack and short decay, while the rounded edge on bass drums generates unique and warm vintage tone.
Finish
The wrap applied to Polmuz drums is of the highest quality. The stunning white color combined with vintage style will delight even the most discerning tastes. The thick material matches those used in top-tier sets from recognized brands.

Tube Lug
Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum tuning instability, each features a long screw that seats deeply in the lug. Additionally, each lug has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome Hardware
All hardware on Polmuz drums is finished with chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.

Mounting System
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms close together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Bass Drum Spurs
The spurs on Polmuz bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect the wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the spurs and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.

Heads
Coated, 1-ply high-quality batter heads are used, branded Polmuz.
Bass drum heads additionally feature a wide damping collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a clear Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revitalize the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz offers high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also win the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
