FEATURES
100% birch shells
The Birch series shells are made from 6 plies of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority in designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and high frequencies provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected birch plies and meticulous attention to shell formation and bearing edge shape.

Bearing Edges
The 45° bearing edge ensures optimal contact with the drumhead. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been carefully sanded and waxed for perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is crystal-clear tone across the full frequency spectrum. Sharp bearing edges on toms provide quick attack and short sustain, while rounded edges on the bass drum generate unique and warm vintage tone.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s with facilities located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion effects and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized drum shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to the name.
Today Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competitors' products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to storm not only the Polish percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
