FEATURES
100% birch shells
The Birch series shells are made from 6 plies of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and treble ensure great versatility across many music styles. The full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected birch plies, as well as attention to shell formation and edge shape.

Bearing Edges
The 45° beveled bearing edges create contact with the head at the optimal point. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been carefully sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. This results in clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing on tom bearing edges produces quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded bearing edge on bass drums generates unique and warm vintage tone.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s with its factory located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also manufactured percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team at the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz offers high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products on the market. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly gain not only the Polish percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
