FEATURES
100% birch shells
The Birch series shells are made from 6 plies of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. Full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected birch plies, as well as attention to shell forming and bearing edge shape.

Bearing Edges
The 45° bearing edge ensures optimal contact with the head. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. This results in clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finish on tom bearing edges delivers quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded bearing edge on bass drum generates unique and warm vintage tone.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its factories located at Grochowska 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also manufactured cymbals and brass instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz represents high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competitors' products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly capture not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
