Model 3 History and Design Guidelines

Once upon a time, beyond seven mountains and forests, there lived a man named Tomek. Tomek dreamed of being able to buy professional drums with hardware for 3500 PLN. Tomek wondered why top drum manufacturers don't offer professional features on kits at this price point, because that's what he wanted to sell. Instead of waiting for salvation, he thought, I guess I have to do this myself. As it happens, Tomek is a production technologist and architect, so he knew how to approach it. The design work took a long time, prototype after prototype. But anyway...

My drum kit had to have:

• 100% birch shells without cheap poplar fillers - done

• professionally finished bearing edges so lugs stay tight and tune beautifully - done

• beautiful metal logo in vintage style, not a plastic badge - done

• solid center post - done
\n
• professional suspension that doesn't integrate into the drum - done

• beautiful lacquer with visible wood grain, not cheap thin veneer - done

• I really liked this blue lacquer - done

• base on a platform with double chain, easy to mount to the center post, plus HH with spring tension adjustment - also done
\n
• ball tom holders that screw from both sides and don't sag while playing - done
\n
• Authentic sound - also done
