100% birch shells
The Birch series shells are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and treble frequencies ensure great versatility across many music styles. The full, focused tone and resonant richness of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as attention to shell formation and edge shaping.
Edges
The 45° beveled edges ensure they contact the head at the optimal point. Every edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edges on the toms provide quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded edge on the bass drum generates unique, warm vintage tone.

100% birch shells
The birch series shells are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 6.9 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and treble frequencies ensure great versatility across many music styles. The specifics of birch wood give these drums a characteristic tone you won't experience in any other drums. The focused and clean sound of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as attention to shell formation and edge shaping. Pronounced highs and pleasant low bass. The drums feature balanced frequency response, so they require minimal adjustment whether in the studio or on stage.
Finish
The lacquered finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used on Polmuz Birch drums is of excellent quality. The gorgeous color transitioning from blue to black will impress even the most discerning tastes. The composition and application method correspond to those used in premium lines of renowned brands.
Chrome hardware
All hardware on Polmuz drums is finished with a chrome plating. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and signature of excellent craftsmanship on every drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. This design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort.
Bass drum lugs
The lugs on Polmuz set bass drums are equipped with rubber gaskets that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this design, the lugs and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
High-quality single-ply struck heads are used on the drums under the Remo brand
A wide damping collar is additionally applied to the bass drum heads. The resonant heads feature a distinctive black head with a clear Polmuz logo.
Quality and Professionalism
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
About the Polmuz Brand
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.

Mój pierwszy zestaw perkusyjny
Kiedy będąc na urlopie odwiedziłem DrumStore zainteresowany byłem obejrzeniem zestawu Gretsch Catalina, ale załoga sklepu zwróciła moją uwagę w stronę Polmuza Model 3 i dałem się namówić. Wykończenie tych bębnów to po prostu miód: lakier, spod którego mienią się słoje brzozowej sklejki, chromowane logo na każdym bębnie, bardzo mi się podoba. Wybrałem wariant z 20" bębnem centralnym ze względu na większą poręczność takiego zestawu, ale brzmienie bębna w takim rozmiarze mi odpowiada. Na wyróżnienie zasługuje hardware: solidne statywy z memory lockami, bardzo praktyczna rzecz, statyw pod werbel też robi dobre wrażenie. Stołek będzie pierwszym elementem, który sobie zmienię, bo jest na mnie dosyć mały i wolałbym chyba większe siedzisko, ale też jestem po prostu dosyć dużym człowiekiem ;) Teraz po pewnym czasie jak mam ten zestaw i nauczyłem się już trochę stroić bębny i już trochę sobie pograłem (i posłuchałem sobie też jak gra na nim ktoś, kto umie grać) zestaw podoba mi się jeszcze bardziej i uważam, że w tej cenie to naprawdę świetny instrument.
