FEATURES
Birch shells
The shells of the Birch series are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 6.9 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced mid and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, focused tone and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shaping.

Bearing edges
The 45° bearing edge angle ensures optimal contact with the drum head. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been precisely finished and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. This results in clear tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finish on toms delivers quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded bearing edge on bass drums generates a unique and warm vintage tone.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand that produced the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion mallets and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing all rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
