The full, focused tone and resonance richness of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as careful attention to shell forming and edge shaping.

Edges
The 45-degree bevel on the edges allows them to contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge on Polmuz drums has been carefully sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clear tone across the full frequency range. ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competitor products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also capture the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
