Features

100% birch shells

The shells of the Birch series are made from 6 layers of birch with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. Full, focused sound and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected birch layers, as well as a focus on shell forming and edge shape.

Edges

The 45° beveled edges make contact with the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been carefully sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clear sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing at the bearing edges in toms produces a quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded edge in bass drums generates unique and warm vintage sound.

Hardware

In Polmuz Model 4 drums, all hardware is finished in black. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast Polmuz logo on the shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Mounting System
