Polmuz hand forged is the most versatile series among the company's professional models.

A wide range of sounds spans from a dark, sandy tone to a full, bright expression.

Produced in many versions, from paper thin to heavy or rock. Even the most discerning drummers are forced to admit that you can hear a familiar note here, known for example from the classic K/Constantinople series. That's exactly what Polmuzes are – rooted in tradition, hand forged, they are the trademark of Polmuz.

B20 Alloy

The cymbals were forged from B20 bronze, which is an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark and warm sound. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. It is undoubtedly the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

Finish

The Polmuz Hand Forged series has been finished in a traditional manner. Visible traces of more intense hammering immediately suggest that we are dealing with genuine, handcrafted production. The entire cymbal surface has been additionally lathed.

This type of processing ensures that Polmuz cymbals not only sound great, but also look amazing.

Forging Method

Each cymbal has been additionally hand forged during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes more sandy and gains significantly in depth.

Cymbal Edges

Polmuz cymbals have been uniquely thinned at the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve fullness of sound without the need for excessive striking force.

Thickness

The thin thickness of the Polmuz Hand Forged SET 14", 18", 20" makes these cymbals very versatile. They work great in most musical styles.

Production

The cymbals were created entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable price. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (with the exception of splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo of it, and our employees will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty claim process, the user does not have to part with their product. While waiting for the new cymbal to be shipped, you can continue to use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
