Polmuz Maple 22/12/16 Champagne Gold Sparkle
The drums of the reactivated Polmuz brand bear no resemblance to their predecessors from the last century. Today Polmuz is primarily bold design combined with proven and solid technologies known from the products of the best brands.
The maple shells of this kit provide complete freedom in shaping the sound, excelling in every music genre. The minimalist, old-school look of Polmuz drums pays homage to the brand's history and gives them a vintage character.
Groundbreaking, unconventional designs, high quality craftsmanship and convincing sound mean that the Polmuz tradition is being reborn today!
QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Like the highest series of leading manufacturers, Polmuz is treated individually, which means there can be no defects or irregularities in the kit. Every element of the drum set is carefully inspected upon unpacking and checked with a keen, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge awakens joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before putting on a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual kit elements receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is found, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made of 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 6 mm. Sound was the highest priority when designing Polmuz drums. Balanced midrange and high tones ensure great versatility across many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through carefully selected maple layers, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shaping.

Edges
The 45° bevel on the edges allows them to make contact with the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The result is clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing at the tom bearing edge creates a quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded edge on the bass drum generates unique and warm vintage tone.
Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives each kit a unique look and distinctive tone. The lacquer used on the Maple Polmuz finish is of the highest quality. The gorgeous champagne gold color will delight even the most discerning tastes. The lacquer composition and application method correspond to those used in top-tier sets from renowned brands. The color is inspired by the iconic color of Fender guitars.Tube Lug
Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole drum to resonate across its full range of tones. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug features a long bolt that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each lug has dual protection in the form of metal and nylon washers, which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz name is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in every drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms close together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Bass drum lugs
The lugs on Polmuz bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this design, the lugs and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
The drums feature coated/clear, single-ply struck heads of high quality.
The drum heads on the bass drum additionally feature a wide bearing edge dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz produces high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish drum market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
