Crash Polmuz 08 18" is a cymbal that captivates with its appearance. Strong forging without a bell combines selectivity with light, sandy wash. The entire Hel series is kept in black with a penetrating rusty, raw finish.

A wide range of tones falls between dark, focused and deep sound.

The cymbal is medium thickness. Its weight combined with dark and resonant tone makes it an excellent choice for jazz musicians with a taste for harder playing.

STOP B20

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm tone. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used for production of the highest cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for producing percussion cymbals.

FINISH

In the Hel series, a raw finish was chosen. It immediately suggests that we are dealing with true, handcrafted production. The cymbal surface was re-forged, with the exception of the bell. The whole was darkened and polished, giving the cymbal a truly dark and prestigious character.

This type of processing ensures that cymbals from the Hel series not only sound great, but also look stunning.

FORGING METHOD

Each cymbal was additionally forged during production. This adds character, and the tone becomes sandier and gains significantly in depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (THICKENED)

Polmuz cymbals are thickened in an original way at the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full tone without the need for excessive striking force.

THICKNESS

Crash Polmuz Hel 18" is a medium thickness cymbal with resonant and deep tone. It works great in rock styles as well as jazz.

PRODUCTION

The cymbals were made entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal making. For years they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable prices. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion shakers and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.

Currently, Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that do not differ from the best competitors' products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
