Polmuz Hel Hi-Hat 13" is a cymbal that captivates with its appearance. Strong forging, with the bell removed, combines selectivity with a light, sandy wash. The entire Hel series maintains a black finish with rusty, raw coloration throughout.
A wide range of sound spans between dark, focused and deep tones.
The cymbal is medium thickness. Its weight combined with dark and resonant sound makes it an excellent choice for jazz musicians with a tendency for harder playing.

B20 Bronze
The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used by top cymbal manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl for their premium series. Without a doubt, it is the best alloy for percussion cymbal production.
Finish
The Hel series features a raw finish. It immediately suggests that you are dealing with authentic, handcrafted production. The cymbal surface has been re-hammered, except for the bell. The entire cymbal is darkly finished and polished, giving the cymbal a truly dark yet prestigious character.
This type of processing ensures that the Hel series cymbals not only sound great but also look stunning.
Forging Process
Each cymbal was additionally hammered during production. This adds character and the sound becomes more sandy with significantly enhanced depth.
Cymbal Edges (tapered)
Polmuz cymbals feature uniquely tapered edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without requiring excessive striking force.

Warranty
Each cymbal (except splash) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo and our staff will take care of the rest.
Polmuz ensures that during the complaint review process, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
About the Polmuz Brand
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
