Hi-hat Polmuz Hel 14" is a cymbal that captivates with its appearance. Strong forging, stripped of the bell, combines selectivity with a light, sandy wash. The entire Hel series is maintained in black with a permeating rusty, raw color.

A wide range of sound is contained between dark, focused and deep tones.

The cymbal is medium thickness. The weight combined with dark and resonant sound makes it an excellent choice for jazz musicians with a penchant for harder playing.

B20 ALLOY

The cymbals were forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a 80/20 ratio. Sheets made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. It is undoubtedly the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

FINISH

In the Hel series, a raw finish was chosen. It immediately suggests that you are dealing with authentic, artisanal production. The surface of the sheet was re-forged, with the exception of the bell. The whole was colored dark and polished, giving the cymbal a truly dark and prestigious character.

This method of processing means that cymbals from the Hel series not only sound great, but also look stunning.

FORGING METHOD

Each cymbal was additionally forged during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes sandier and gains significantly in depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (LATHED)

Polmuz cymbals have edges that are uniquely lathed. Thanks to this, the sheets achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.

THICKNESS

Hi-hat Polmuz Hel 14" are medium thickness cymbals with resonant and deep sound. They work great in rock styles as well as jazz.

PRODUCTION

The cymbals were made entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. This is where the unique character of each cymbal comes from. This country has a long tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable prices. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced noisemakers and wind instruments. The last drums were made at the end of the 1990s, and then completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing the complete rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best competitive products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
