Ride Polmuz Hel Light 21" is a cymbal that captivates with its appearance. Strong hammering, from which the bell has been removed, combines selectivity with a light, sandy wash. The entire Hel series is maintained in black with a penetrating rusty, raw coloration. This time the manufacturer surprises us with a unique version featuring copper stripes.
A wide range of sounds is contained between a dark, focused and deep tone.
The cymbal is medium thickness. Its weight combined with dark and resonant sound makes it an excellent choice for jazz musicians with a bent towards stronger playing.

B20 Alloy
The cymbals were forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin, whose proportion is 80/20. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark and warm sound. High tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used for the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. It is undoubtedly the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.
Finish
In the Hel Limited series, a raw finish was chosen. It immediately suggests that we are dealing with true, handcrafted production. The cymbal surface was re-hammered, except for the bell. In the basic model, everything is colored dark. In the limited version, copper stripes were added to the finish, and everything was polished. Thanks to this, the cymbal gained a truly unique, new look, and at the same time a prestigious character. The striped version makes the cymbal even more captivating in appearance.
This method of processing ensures that cymbals from the Hel series not only sound great but also look stunning.
Hammering Method
Each cymbal was additionally hammered during production. This adds character, and the sound is sandier and significantly gains in depth.
Cymbal Edges (thinned)
Polmuz cymbals have been thinned in an original way on the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound, without the need to use excessive striking force.

Ride Polmuz Hel Light 21" is a light cymbal with a resonant and deep sound. It works wonderfully in jazz.
Production
The cymbals were made entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years they have been appreciated for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable prices. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.
Warranty
Each cymbal (except splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us its photo, and our staff will take care of the rest.
Polmuz ensures that during the complaint review, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can still use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.
Quality and Professionalism
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
About the Polmuz Brand
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
