Polmuz

A legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with facilities located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s before disappearing from the market entirely. In 2018, the team at DrumStore, a specialist drum shop from Gdynia, decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring complete rights to its name.

Today Polmuz represents high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that rival the best products on the market. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly capture not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
