Polmuz

A legendary brand that produced the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its facilities located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s before the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring complete rights to its name.

Today Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that rival the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to quickly capture not only the Polish percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
