QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the kit. Each element of the percussion after unpacking is subject to meticulous inspection and checked with a discerning, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product. All shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is inspected because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that turn smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual kit elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made of 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as careful attention to shell forming and edge shape.

Edges
The edge cut at a 45° angle ensures they make contact with the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing at the contact point on toms provides quick attack and short sustain, while a rounded edge on the bass drum generates unique and warm vintage sound.
Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each kit a unique appearance and distinctive sound. The lacquer used to finish the Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole drum to resonate across the full sound range. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug is equipped with a long screw that is deeply seated in the lug. Additionally, each lug has double security in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the disreputable reputation of the brand from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and trademark of the highest level of craftsmanship in every drum.
Mounting system
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum provide less weight.
Bass drum hooks
The hooks on Polmuz bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden rims from damage. In this arrangement, the hooks and rims form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Transparent, high-quality 1-ply struck heads are used in the drums.
The batter heads additionally feature a wide muffling collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head featuring a distinct Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factory was located at Grochowska 75/77 in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion sticks and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion kit and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly capture not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
