QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Like the highest series of leading manufacturers, Polmuz is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each drum component is subjected to meticulous inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, discerning eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product; all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threaded screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive a custom sticker with a serial number, date, and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midrange and treble tones provide great versatility across many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected layers of maple, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shape.

Edges
The 45° cut on the edges means they contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge on Polmuz drums has been polished and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal contact between the head and shell. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp finishing of the bearing edge on toms provides quick attack and short decay, while a rounded edge on bass drums generates unique, warm vintage sound.
Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and distinctive sound. The lacquer used on the Maple series finish is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each one has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has dual protection in the form of washers—metal and nylon—that guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome-plated hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the tarnished reputation of the brand from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure reduced weight.
Bass drum lugs
The bass drum hoops on Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the hoops and hoops form one cohesive whole, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
The drums use transparent, single-ply high-quality striking heads.
The resonant heads additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at Grochowska 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz is high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competing products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly capture not only the Polish drum market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
