QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each drum element undergoes careful inspection after unpacking and is checked by a trained eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before applying a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set components receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after successfully passing testing, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced midrange and high tones provide great versatility in many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers and focus on shell forming and edge shaping.

Edges
Beveling the edges at a 45° angle ensures they contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been carefully sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect contact between the head and shell. The consequence of this solution is clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp finished edges on tom bearing surfaces produce quick attack and short sustain, while rounded edges on bass drums generate unique and warm vintage tone.
Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique look and unconventional sound. The lacquer used on the Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lugs
Tube lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design ensures they look like traditional mounts, but the lug "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of tuning instability, each contains a long screw that is deeply seated in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection with metal and nylon washers, which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives the impression of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. Cast logos on Polmuz shells are a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and hallmark of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lower weight.
Bass drum spurs
The spurs on Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, spurs and hoops form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Transparent, single-ply high-quality strike heads are used in the drums.
The batter heads additionally feature a wide damping collar. Resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinct Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion effects and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s and subsequently disappeared from the market completely. In 2018, the team of the specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competition products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
