QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no compromise in quality or irregularities in the set. Every drum component is carefully inspected upon unpacking and checked with a keen, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to deliver an even more refined sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting new heads, not to mention the ease of tuning and the perfect tone of the shell. Furthermore, all drum hardware is checked because there's nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. If any flaw or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after passing quality testing, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums carries a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. Sound was the highest priority in designing Polmuz drums. Balanced mid and high frequencies provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells is achieved through carefully selected maple plies and focus on shell formation and edge shape.

Edges
A 45° bearing edge ensures optimal contact with the head. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal head-to-shell contact. The result is pure tone across the full frequency range. Sharp edge finishing on tom bearing edges produces fast attack and short sustain, while a rounded edge on bass drums generates unique and warm vintage tone.
Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive tone. The lacquer applied to Polmuz Maple drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mountings, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the shell. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full range of frequencies. To minimize tuning stability issues, each lug features a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each lug has dual protection in the form of metal and nylon washers that guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome-plated hardware
All hardware in Polmuz drums is finished with chrome plating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in every drum.
Mounting system
The shell-friendly mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design allows for closer tom positioning, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Bass drum claws
The claws on Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber washers that help protect wooden hoops from damage. In this setup, the claws and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tunings.
Heads
High-quality, single-ply transparent heads are used in these drums.
The batter heads additionally feature a wide damping collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a prominent Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with facilities located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced cowbells and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish drum market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
