QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each drum component is subjected to meticulous inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, luthier's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product; all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand over the edge before installing new heads, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect shell tone. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive their own label with serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The shells of the Maple series are made from 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones ensure great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers, as well as attention to shell forming and edge shape.

Edges
The 45° bearing edge ensures that they contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect head-to-shell contact. The consequence of this solution is a clean tone across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge on toms provides fast attack and short decay, while rounded edges on bass drum generate unique and warm vintage tone.
Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive tone. The lacquer used for finishing Maple series Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounting hardware, but the lug body "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full sound range. To minimize the risk of the drums going out of tune, each uses a long screw that sits deeply in the lug. Additionally, each has dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz name is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined construction makes it easier to position toms closer together, providing greater flexibility and comfort. Additionally, parts made of aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Bass drum claws
The claws in Polmuz sets are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this configuration, the claws and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Transparent, single-ply struck heads of high quality are used in these drums.
The bass drum heads additionally feature a wide muffling collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which the brand completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of specialist percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments line that is in no way inferior to the best competition products. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
