QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the kit. Every element of the drum set is subjected to meticulous inspection after unpacking and checked with a keen, luthier's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product, all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ceremony of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head – not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is inspected because there is nothing more pleasant than screws that screw smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual kit elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and a handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made from 6 plies of maple with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority when designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells was achieved through the use of carefully selected maple plies, as well as focus on shell forming and bearing edge shape.

Bearing Edges
A 45° bevel on the bearing edge means it makes contact with the head at the optimal point. Each bearing edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal head-to-shell contact. The consequence of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp bearing edge finishing on tom shells delivers quick attack and short sustain, while the rounded bearing edge on bass drums generates unique and warm vintage sound.
Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives every kit a unique appearance and exceptional sound. The lacquer used for finishing Maple Polmuz drums is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum detuning, each lug has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double securing with washers – metal and nylon – that guarantee tuning stability.
Chromium-plated hardware
In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality of materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and also a calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship of each drum.
Mounting System
A non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure lighter weight.
Bass Drum Spurs
The spurs in Polmuz kit bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, the spurs and hoops form one cohesive unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Transparent, 1-ply high-quality batter heads are used on the drums.
The resonant heads on the bass drum additionally feature a wide damping collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by the characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - a legendary brand manufacturing Poland's first drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska 75/77 Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, and the brand subsequently disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized percussion shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.
Today Polmuz represents high-quality drum kits and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also capture the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
