QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Polmuz, like the top series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Every element of the drum kit undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a keen, craftsmanlike eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product; all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge triggers joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing new heads, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and its perfect sound. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should a defect or irregularity be found, the shell is remade.
WARRANTY
Every Polmuz shell, after passing the test, receives a lifetime warranty, and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made of 6 layers of maple with a total thickness of 4.8 mm. The highest priority in designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility across many musical styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells are achieved through the use of carefully selected maple layers and focus on shell formation and edge shaping.

Edges
The 45° angle cut on the edges ensures they contact the head at the optimal point. Each edge on Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring perfect contact between the head and the shell. The result is clear sound across the full frequency range. Sharp finishing on the contact edge in toms produces a quick attack and short sustain, while a rounded edge on bass drums generates unique and warm vintage sound.
Finish
The matte finish on Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive sound. The lacquer used on the Maple Polmuz finish is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug hardware "floats" above the shell to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire drum to resonate across the full sound range. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each features a long bolt that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double security with both metal and nylon washers, guaranteeing tuning stability.
Chrome-plated hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome coating. The beautiful appearance conveys a sense of highest quality materials and breaks with the brand's unfortunate past reputation. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is both a guarantee and a hallmark of the highest level of craftsmanship of every drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, aluminum components ensure reduced weight.
Bass drum hooks
The hooks on Polmuz bass drums are equipped with rubber pads that help protect their wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and hoops form one unified unit so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
Transparent, 1-ply high-quality struck heads are used on the drums.
The bass drum heads additionally feature a wide dampening collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - the legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, with its factories located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz represents high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that match the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquer not only Poland's percussion market but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
