Stop B20

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. Sheets made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark, and warm sound. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. It is undoubtedly the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.

Finishing

The Polmuz Mocno Kuty series has been finished in a traditional manner. Visible traces of more intensive hammering immediately suggest that we are dealing with genuine, handcrafted production. The entire surface of the cymbal has been additionally lathed.

This method of processing ensures that the cymbals from the Mocno Kuty series not only sound excellent, but also look stunning.

Forging Method

Each cymbal has been additionally forged during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes sandier and gains significantly in depth.

Cymbal Edges

The Polmuz cymbals have been thinned at the edges in an original way. Thanks to this, the sheets achieve fullness of sound, without the need for excessive striking force.

Thickness

The thickness of the thin crash Polmuz Mocno Kuty 16" makes this cymbal very versatile. It works well in most musical styles.

Production

The cymbals were created entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – affordable pricing. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (except splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo and our team will take care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the complaint process, the user does not have to part with their product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue to use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
