Crash Polmuz 07 18" is a cymbal that represents a compromise between price and quality. The whole series 07 is finished in an interesting hybrid finish.
The wide range of sound spans between a full, bright expression, and a sandy sound.
The cymbal is medium thickness, which makes it very versatile. It will certainly find its place in most music styles.
Stop B20
The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in an 80/20 ratio. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by a rich, dark, and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used to produce the top-tier cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. It is without doubt the best alloy for producing drum cymbals.

Finish
The 07 series has a hybrid finish. The raw finish of the edge and bell immediately suggests that we're dealing with genuine, handcrafted production. The remaining surface of the cymbal has been lathed and additionally finished to a high polish.
This type of processing means that the cymbals from the 07 series not only sound great, but also look stunning.
Hammering Method
Every cymbal has been additionally hammered during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes sandier and gains significantly in depth.
Cymbal Edges (thinned)
Polmuz cymbals are thinned at the edges in an original way. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without the need for excessive striking force.
Thickness
Crash Polmuz 07 18” is medium weight, which makes this cymbal very versatile. It works great in recording studios, as well as in pop music and fusion-type styles. The larger size compared to the 18" diameter model gives the cymbal even more depth and a longer sustain.
Production
The cymbals are made entirely by hand in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of every cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal making. For years they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly - reasonable price. It's not without reason that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.
Warranty
Every cymbal (except splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only needs a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, just send us a photo of it and our staff will take care of the rest.
Polmuz makes sure that during the complaint process the user doesn't have to part with their product. Until your new cymbal is shipped, you can still use your favorite Polmuz cymbal.
Quality and Professionalism
Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.
About the Polmuz Brand
Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
