Crash Polmuz 07 18" is a cymbal that strikes the perfect balance between price and quality. The entire 07 series features an interesting hybrid finish.

The wide range of sounds spans from full, bright expression to a sandy tone.

The cymbal is medium thickness, making it extremely versatile. It will certainly find applications across most musical styles.

B20 Bronze

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, a copper and tin alloy with an 80/20 proportion. B20 cymbals are characterized by rich, dark, and warm tones. The high tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used by top manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl for their premium series. It is undoubtedly the finest alloy for cymbal production.

Specifications:

  • crash
  • size 18"
  • thickness: medium

Finish

The 07 series features a hybrid finish. The raw finish on the edges and bell immediately suggests authentic, handcrafted production. The remaining cymbal surface is lathed and finished to a high polish.

This processing method ensures that the 07 series cymbals not only sound fantastic but also look stunning.

Hammering Technique

Each cymbal undergoes additional hammering during production. This adds character and the tone becomes sandier with significantly increased depth.

Cymbal Edges (lathed)

Polmuz cymbals feature a distinctive lathed edge. This allows the cymbals to achieve full sound without requiring excessive striking force.

Thickness

Crash Polmuz 07 18" is medium weight, making this cymbal extremely versatile. It works beautifully in the studio, as well as in popular music and fusion styles. The larger size compared to the 18" diameter model provides even greater depth and longer sustain.

Production

The cymbals are entirely hand-crafted in our Turkish manufacturing facility. This gives each cymbal its unique character. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal production. For years, they have been valued for their distinctive manufacturing process, quality, and most importantly—their exceptional value. These instruments are rightfully considered among the finest in the world.

Warranty

Every cymbal (with the exception of splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz only requires a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, send us a photo and our team will handle the rest.

Polmuz ensures that during the warranty claim process, you won't have to part with your product. While we ship your new cymbal, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
