B20 Alloy

The cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin with a proportion of 80/20. B20 cymbals are characterized by a rich, dark, and warm tone. High tin content makes the material harder.

B20 bronze is used in the production of premium cymbal series by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian, and Meinl. It is undoubtedly the best alloy for percussion cymbal production.

Finish

In the 07 Limited series, the cymbals have been finished in brilliant style. The exception is the raw-finished bell. This immediately suggests we're dealing with authentic, handcrafted production. The remaining cymbal surface has been lathed and finished to a high polish.

This treatment method ensures that cymbals from the 07 Limited series not only sound excellent, but also look stunning.

Forging Method

Each cymbal has been additionally hand-forged during production. This adds character, and the sound is more complex and significantly gains in depth.

Cymbal Edges (lathed)

Polmuz cymbals feature an original lathing on the edges. Thanks to this, the cymbals achieve full sound without requiring excessive striking force.

Thickness

Hi-hat Polmuz 07 14" is medium weight, making this cymbal highly versatile. It works excellently in recording studios as well as in popular music and fusion-style genres.

Production

The cymbals are handmade entirely in our manufactory in Turkey. Hence the unique character of each cymbal. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and importantly – affordable pricing. It is no wonder these instruments are considered among the finest in the world.

Warranty

Each cymbal (with the exception of splashes) is covered by a unique warranty. Unlike other manufacturers, Polmuz requires only a photo of the defect. If your cymbal cracks, you send us a photo, and our staff takes care of the rest.

Polmuz ensures that while processing a warranty claim, you don't have to part with your product. Until the new cymbal is shipped, you can continue using your favorite Polmuz cymbal.

Quality and Professionalism

Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, meaning there can be no compromise or defect in the drum set. Each percussion element undergoes careful inspection upon unpacking and is checked with a discerning, professional eye. We strive for Polmuz to be recognized as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to provide an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and satisfaction during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly threading screws into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive a sticker with a serial number, date, and a handwritten signature confirming the drum's high quality. Should any defect or irregularity be found, the shell is manufactured anew.

About the Polmuz Brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. Besides drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were manufactured in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today, Polmuz produces high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products from competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions has allowed Polmuz to rapidly conquer not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
