Polmuz - MODEL 10 - Crash 17"
Polmuz - MODEL 10 - Crash 17" is a cymbal that captivates with its appearance. Strong forging with the bell removed combines selectivity with a light, sandy wash. The entire MODEL 10 series is finished in black with a penetrating raw, rusty coloration.
A wide range of tones spans from dark, focused and deep sound.
The cymbal is medium thickness. Its weight combined with dark and projecting tone makes it an excellent choice for jazz musicians with a taste for harder playing.
B20 BRONZE
Cymbals are forged from B20 bronze, an alloy of copper and tin in a 80/20 proportion. Cymbals made from B20 are characterized by rich, dark and warm sound. The high tin content makes the material harder.
B20 bronze is used in the production of the highest series of cymbals by manufacturers such as Sabian, Zildjian and Meinl. Undoubtedly, it is the best alloy for the production of percussion cymbals.
FINISH
In the Model 10 series, a raw finish was chosen. It immediately suggests that you are dealing with authentic, handcrafted production. The cymbal surface was re-forged, except for the bell. The entire cymbal was darkened and polished, giving the cymbal a truly dark and prestigious character.

This type of treatment ensures that cymbals from the Model 10 series not only sound great, but also look stunning.
FORGING METHOD
Each cymbal was additionally forged during production. This adds character, and the sound becomes more sandy and gains significantly in depth.

CYMBAL EDGES (LATHED)
Polmuz cymbals feature a unique lathing on the edges. This allows the cymbals to achieve fullness of tone without requiring excessive striking force.
THICKNESS
Polmuz - MODEL 10 - Crash 17" is a standard thickness cymbal with a projecting and deep tone. It works great in rock styles as well as jazz.
PRODUCTION
Cymbals are made entirely by hand at our manufactory in Turkey. This is why each cymbal has a unique character. This country has a long-standing tradition in cymbal manufacturing. For years, they have been valued for their original production process, quality, and most importantly – reasonable pricing. It is no wonder that these instruments are considered among the best in the world.
