Polmuz, like the highest series from leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each percussion element is subjected to meticulous inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all drum shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked, as there is nothing more pleasant than screws threading smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual elements of the set receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If any defect or irregularity is discovered, the shell is remade.

Features

Tube Lug

Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the drum shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum detuning, each features a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double security in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome-plated hardware

In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. About the brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its factories were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion accessories and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist drum shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today Polmuz is high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best competitors' products.
