QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM

Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element is subjected to careful inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, experienced eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product; all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we know well, a perfectly smooth edge releases joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before fitting new heads, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smoothly screwing bolts into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual set elements receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is manufactured anew.

Features

Tube Lug

Tube Lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the drum shell so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each lug features a long bolt that sits deep within the lug. Additionally, each lug has dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome-plated hardware

In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chromium coating. Beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality of materials used and breaks with the infamous reputation of the brand from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made of solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and signature of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.

Construction

The snare drum shell with a thickness of 6 mm ensures a clear attack and amazing appearance, making Polmuz Acrylic snares ideal for live performances. The seamless shell construction guarantees excellent resonance while maintaining very high durability. 2 mm thick hoops are an excellent combination of tuning stability and sound that surprises with its openness.

About the brand

Polmuz - legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion instruments and wind instruments. The last drums were produced in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialist drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing complete rights to its name.

Today Polmuz is a high-quality drum sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
