Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Every percussion element is subjected to meticulous inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, expert eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all drum shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth, and are additionally waxed to achieve an even greater sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than smooth-turning screws fitting perfectly into lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual elements of the set receive an individual sticker with serial number, date and a handwritten signature confirming high drum quality. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is manufactured anew.

Features

Tube Lug

Tube Lug style lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the drum shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire shell to resonate across its full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drum detuning, each lug features a long screw that seats deeply into the lug. Additionally, each has dual protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome hardware

In Polmuz drums all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. About the brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand manufacturing the first Polish drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced snare mechanisms and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialist percussion store DrumStore in Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by acquiring full rights to its name.

Today Polmuz represents high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments, in no way inferior to the best products of competitors. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz rapidly conquering not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
