Polmuz, like the highest series of leading manufacturers, is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defects or irregularities in the set. Each percussion element is subjected to careful inspection upon unpacking and checked with a discerning eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product, all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before installing a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect sound of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws turning smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such solid quality control, individual elements of the set receive an individual sticker with a serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is detected, the shell is made anew.

Features

Tube Lug

Tube Lug lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug construction makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug body "floats" above the shell, so as to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the whole to resonate across the full range of sounds. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each has a long screw that sits deep in the lug. Additionally, each has double protection in the form of washers - metal and nylon - which guarantee tuning stability.

Chrome-plated hardware

In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome-plated coating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of the highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. About the brand

Polmuz - a legendary brand producing the first Polish drums, known to every drummer. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at 75/77 Grochowska Street in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team of the specialized drum shop DrumStore from Gdynia decided to revive the Polmuz brand by purchasing full rights to its name.

Today Polmuz is a high-quality percussion set and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best products of the competition. Bold design combined with proven solutions have made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
