QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM
Like the top series of leading manufacturers, Polmuz is treated individually, which means there can be no question of any defect or irregularity in the set. Each percussion element is subjected to careful inspection upon unpacking and checked with a keen, craftsman's eye. We strive for Polmuz to be remembered as a premium product - all shell edges must be perfectly straight and smooth and are additionally waxed to achieve an even richer sense of professionalism and comfort. As we well know, a perfectly smooth edge brings joy and happiness during the traditional ritual of running your hand along the edge before putting on a new head, not to mention the ease of tuning the drum and the perfect resonance of the shell. Additionally, all drum hardware is checked because there is nothing more pleasant than screws turning smoothly into perfectly fitted lugs. After such thorough quality control, individual components of the set receive an individual sticker with serial number, date and handwritten signature confirming the high quality of the drum. If a defect or irregularity is found, the shell is manufactured again.
WARRANTY
Each Polmuz shell, after passing the test successfully, receives a lifetime warranty and the hardware used in Polmuz drums receives a 3-year warranty.

FEATURES
100% maple shells
The Maple series shells are made of 6 maple plies with a total thickness of 5 mm. The highest priority when designing Polmuz drums was sound. Balanced mid and high tones provide great versatility in many music styles. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the shells were achieved through the use of carefully selected maple plies, as well as focus on shell forming and edge shape.
Edges
The edge cut at a 45° angle ensures they contact the head at the optimal point on the flat surface, making tuning extremely simple.
Many modern companies cut the edge so it contacts the head on the head's curve. This makes tuning very difficult, especially on so-called "rag" heads
Each edge in Polmuz drums has been sanded and additionally waxed, ensuring ideal head contact with the shell. The result of this solution is clean sound across the full frequency range. Sharp finishing at the contact edge provides quick attack, selective, expressive resonance.

Finish
The matte finish of Polmuz drums gives each set a unique appearance and distinctive sound. The lacquer used for the Maple Polmuz finish is of the highest quality.
Tube Lug
Tube Lug type lugs are characteristic of all Polmuz drums. The unique Tube Lug design makes them look like traditional mounts, but the lug shell "floats" above the drum to minimize contact with the drum. This allows the entire assembly to resonate across the full sound range. To minimize the risk of drums going out of tune, each one has a long screw that sits deep in the lug.
Chrome hardware
In Polmuz drums, all hardware is finished with a chrome plating. The beautiful appearance gives a sense of highest quality materials used and breaks with the brand's unfortunate reputation from years past. The cast logo on Polmuz shells is a true declaration of quality and style. Made from solid brass and chrome-plated, the Polmuz nameplate is a guarantee and calling card of the highest level of craftsmanship in each drum.
Mounting system
The non-invasive mounting system ensures maximum resonance and stability regardless of conditions. The streamlined design makes it easy to position toms closer together, providing greater freedom and comfort. Additionally, parts made from aluminum ensure reduced weight.
Center hooks
The hooks in Polmuz set centers are equipped with rubber pads that help protect the wooden hoops from damage. In this arrangement, hooks and hoops form one cohesive unit, so they don't separate or rattle, even with loose tuning.
Heads
The drums feature Polmuz or Remo Encore struck heads, with Evans available for an additional charge.
TT and FT resonant membranes are thin Polmuz Clear. The reso on center is an excellent Polmuz fiberskin head.
Center heads additionally feature a wide damping collar. The resonant heads are distinguished by a characteristic vintage-style head with a distinctive Polmuz logo.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Polmuz - the legendary brand producing Poland's first drums, known to every percussionist. The company was founded in the 1960s, and its facilities were located at Grochowska Street 75/77 in Warsaw. In addition to drums, Polmuz also produced percussion and wind instruments. The last drums were made in the late 1990s, after which they completely disappeared from the market. In 2018, the team from the specialized percussion shop DrumStore in Gdynia decided to reactivate the Polmuz brand by purchasing the full rights to its name.
Today, Polmuz produces high-quality percussion sets and ethnic instruments that are in no way inferior to the best competing products. Bold design combined with proven solutions has made Polmuz storm not only the Polish percussion market, but also the hearts of those who remember their first Polmuz drums.
